Truly and MOVING picture. Well written, well acted and doesn't just fill in the blanks in an overused formula.

This film is emotionally overloaded and very heavy handed. Here is a splendid film for filmgoers who appreciate paper-thin emotional manipulation. The lead is a young boy whose portrayal teeters somewhere between self-occupied and retarded.

I spent most of the film thinking the boy should be in intense therapy, or possibly in some kind of institution. While he is supposed to be paralyzed by his fears, he thinks nothing or running off on his own day or night. Unrealistic.
